I have successfully connected my Brother printer to the internet through my T-Mobile box, but when I try to connect to it on any of my computers (two laptops and a desktop), none of them can find a printer. I dumbed the network down to 2.4 GHz, WPA/WPA/2, TKIP & AES and repeatedly rebooted everything without success. All are showing up as connected devices on the T-Mobile Internet app, but Windows is not finding the printer. I have tried connecting directly using the printer’s IP address, but that doesn’t work either. I talked with T-Mobile Home Internet Support, but after running through things the only suggestions were (1) to delete the printer’s drivers, etc.,from the computer and go back through the printer installation (which I did, with no change) orto add a Mesh and try connecting through that. Any suggestion on getting Windows to see the printer that is on the network? I am about ready to jump back to ATT. Lousy customer service and slower speeds, but at least everything connected!160Views0likes2CommentsNew TMobile wifi user…Cannot connect my HP Envy 5530 e-all in one Printer to Network

I have an HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus e-All-in-One Printer N911g. I have just gotten a T-Mobile 5G Gateway router set up with 2 networks: one with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz (dual band) and one with just 2.4 GHz - WPA security. When I attempt to connect the printer to the 2.4 GHz network, it fails with the issue "MAC address filtering may be enabled on your wireless router". IT IS NOT - my understanding is that there is no filter (option is set to ALL). I have reset this network several times, updated drivers, ensured the security settings are proper, rebooted the computer several times. I have connected several other devices to this network (iphone / ipad / desktop) without issue so this is a tad frustrating. Is there other possible settings?Solved566Views1like5CommentsCanon Printer/Scanner won't connect to 5G Gateway
I have a Canon MG-3022 printer/scanner. When I was on the trial period of getting the 5G gateway, I could connect the printer portion of my printer/scanner but the scanner would not connect. It’s one unit. What a quirk! I spent an hour and a half on tech support with T-Mobile and finally got it set up so the printer and scanner worked OK. So everything is fine for a little over a month. Then last night my 5G Gateway got an update and rebooted itself while I was watching TV, I saw the 5G gateway power back on. Tonight, my printer works but my scanner doesn’t. I’ve tried to do reinstallation files for the printer/scanner like during the tech support call, but I can’t get the scanner to connect. I’ve put my 11to 15year old computers on the Gateway printer network during the tech support call. Seems equipment that is pre-2018 need to dial down the security and the Ghz to connect on a sub-network.Solved496Views0likes8CommentsPrinter shows OFFLINE and cannot print
Hello to all, I just configured my 5G gateway for internet, and also configured the printer to that gateway. It says connection successful. But unfortunately I cannot print. I go to my computer or to my laptop and they both say Printer Offline. I tried creating a second network with 2.4ghz but it didn’t work. I tried restarting everything, removing the wifi settings and putting them again, but nothing works. What can I do? The printer is HP Officejet Pro 7740. Thanks!147Views0likes5CommentsPrinter issue
Now that I have TMobile as my ISP, my printer needs to be connected to this new network. I have a testpage that instructs me to see if MAC address filtering is enableda and/or to add the MAC addresss of my printer to the list of permitted devices for my wireless router. Sooo...in trying to access the wireless network, there isnt a list on the tmobile wireless router page, to add. What am I missing?Solved7.9KViews2likes11CommentsPrinter Stopped Connecting to Wifi
Now, whenever I try to reconnect, it says that it failed the MAC address filtering check. My Gateway isArcadyan KVD21, which according to some other questions I’ve seen asked, doesn’t have those kinds of access controls. I’ve got a 2.4g band set up which is what the printer needs, and confirmed that the printer supports the WPA3-SAE security type I’ve got set up. The frustrating part is that when I switched to T-Mobile back in November, the printer connected just fine. We don’t use it super often, so it’s not clear when this issue arose. The printer is an Epson ET-4800. Before I call up Epson support and have them tell me it’s the fault of the gateway, is there anything else I should try?164Views0likes1Comment
