My phone was stolen in Europe two weeks ago. I got a new phone through the warranty waiting for me at home in the US. So I want to make sure that Find My Phone through the McAfee Security for T-Mobile service that I am paying for is still working as I setup my replacement phone. I login on my laptom to Mcafee.com and it says that my McAfee Security for T-Mobile was cancelled. Rats. I call T-Mobile, they confirm it wasn’t cancelled. I go to the store so they can look, and the store T-Mobile people confirm that my McAfee Security for T-Mobile is NOT cancelled. I call Mcafee several times and they say T-Mobile cancelled my subscription. I ask for elevation of the case; nothing. I call back and curse at them; finally, someone from Mcafee calls back and they are elevating it. Are you kidding me? To make it worse, the McAfee Security for T-Mobile app on my phone says: “if you want to find your phone, click here.” Is this real? Am I alive and well, or just a zombie already? Good God. What the heck are we supposed to do? Are we paying for this insanity?16KViews0likes10CommentsMcafeee
Any idea why McAfee T-Mobile app suddenly asks for phone number for “verification to create a new account” when I already have an account? Searched for an answer but got nothing. I updated the app but it still asked for my phone number so I went ahead and typed it in thinking it would recognize my number and redirect it to my existing account but it appears to have created a brand new account. None of the identity info I had before shows up. So worrisome considering the data breach several years ago. Any idea why this has happened?284Views0likes0Commentsgalaxy note 20 ultra 5g Hacked with McAfee installed help
OK so is there anyone out there having any issues with your phone being hacked with your Galaxy Note 20 ultra 5G? I have the phone, along with the "360 tech support" insurance plan also the McAfee suite, so I noticed two weeks ago that the phone started getting cut off.. and I been on the phone with tmobile almost each night trying to get this resolved. An I kept telling them I believe that I am being hacked, and they respond with "no, that can't happen, and trouble shooting each time I called when I was on hold for usually 20 minutes before they answer and then the trouble shooting would start. Anyway so we added an Esim, and my phone was fine for a couple of days then it the fuckery started again.. and I wouldn't get calls or messages, and so I called again and of coarse the hoops before I could get an answer. So I wiped for a new Sim and that went in and that night my phone was really messing up, like turning off no service at times ext and so yesterday evening I was cleaning and I had Spotify on playing some music when I heard a shuttering and at 1st I had thought it was the music but it wasn't.. whatever was snapping pictures. So my niece calls me, later I. The evening and said that I posted to Mt face book a photo to my story and I did not.. so something us going im still in this situation help anyone please..324Views0likes3CommentsMcafee billing upcharge
Since Tmobile had a serious security breach the in store rep gave me “free Mcafee Antivirus” when I signed up then started billing me $5 a month. Customer service insists I signed up for it in-app. If this is true it was very easy to miss what I was doing. Anyone had this happen or object to sneaking in this charge? They have bad security then charge you extra?3KViews2likes6Comments
