G4AR Port Forwarding
Hi all,
The port forwarding feature on routers is universal since the internet began. Yet, T-Mobile tells me they are unable to open ports on the G4AR (the new white one) because it does not use IP4 protocol.
I am amazed. I never heard of a new type of networking that does not use IPs/ports on routers! So, how do I proceed?
Sincerely,
Paul Romero
PS, the ports I want to open are: 5624, 8624, 7624, 3000.

I have the same problem. I noticed that both Verizon and AT&T have port forwarding. I'm returning my T-Mobile stuff and I'm waiting for either Verizon or AT&T to become available. Both of these carriers have service here, but not home internet yet. I'm on their notification list when it becomes available.
The "help" folks told me to complain by writing a letter (real paper!) to someplace in Bellevue WA. Apparently, they don't have email.
