How do I access Apple TV+ on a regular TV

I have a regular television with a cable subscription.  I also have free Apple TV+ as a benefit of my T-Mobile subscription.  How can I watch Apple TV+ on my regular TV?

    If you have a smart TV or a streaming device such as a Roku or a Fire TV Stick, look for the Apple TV app.

    If you don’t have one of these, Roku and FireTV devices are about $40 or less. They plug into a HDMI port on your TV   They need to connect to your Wi-Fi.

You must have either a smart TV or a streaming device.  If your old dumb TV has HDMI ports, you can add a streaming device which you purchase.  T-Mobile is only giving you the subscription, which is normally $9.99 per month.
