Unlocking policy for metro b

I’m considering getting an iPhone 13 from Metro by T-Mobile with the port-in offer. I want to confirm the unlock eligibility requirements.

Does the phone need 180 days of active service, or is it now 365 days before it can be unlocked?
If I only pay for the first month, will the unlock timer still continue in the background, or does it require 12 months of active payments?
Can I request an early unlock for an additional fee?
