New phone and info transfer
I got a new iPhone and transferred everything from my Samsung Galaxy. When I put a new SIM card in the Samsung are the text messages that are on the phone then transfer to the SIM card? The card put into the Samsung has a different phone number. I am asking because my ex then stole the new card from the Samsung.
Or does it only save texts that were sent after the SIM was installed?
Text messages are not transfered to or stored on the SIM. Text messages are stored on the device and depending on your Apple settings, backed up to iCloud.
