All I can recommend is try to find an updated wifi driver. I believe that Toshiba Satellite series was discontinued in 2016 so it may no longer have driver support.
As a long shot, you could try to separate out your 5 and 2.4 ghz bands into separate SSID to see if that works. You make that change via the web ui on your TMO router.
