Oculus Suddenly not Connecting
THIS, is exactly my story as well! I am beyond frustrated! I was so irritated that Metaquest 2 sent me a replacement refurbished oculus. Guess what? That too doesn't keep the connection to the internet. My daughter brought her quest2 while visiting and quess what? Yup, hers couldn't keep the connection to the internet! That convinced me it was not my Quest2 but rather my TMobile gateway. Then I began internet searches and clearly there is an issue with TMobile but NO SOLUTIONS. I love TMobile. I don't want to leave. I just want it to do how it was working for the past year...until 4 weeks ago when it decided to kick out my Quest2. All other items; tv, phone, alexa, tablets, all work and connect and REMAIN CONNECTED. How can this be fixed? My 5G Gateway is black. HELP!!!
HAS ANYONE FOUND A SOLUTION???
T-mobile's policy with this is pretty dumb. The acknowledge the Sagemcom Fast 5688W has this issue, and with enough complaining will agree to ship you a replacement which they state will have the exact same issue because it's a known issue with the device. Or you can try your luck at a T-Mobile store, which in my previous experience is not worth the effort.

T-Mobile sent me a new white gateway in mid-April 2025 (I had the black gateway modem/router since 2023 and it had been working just fine up until January). I used my old SIM card with the new white gateway and my oculus now works! I do have a new SIM card ready just in case.

I tried to get the to do that but they said they'd only replace with the same one. Maybe I'll try again another day but that was a waste of an hour today.
