New version of app?

It looks like the T-Mobile app has been updated in the last few days since it has a new look and is asking me to login or create a new account.  Not a problem—this is common after an update (app or IOS), but it won’t let me login.  I get the full-screen psychedelic pink swirly thing and “ Authenticating “ at the bottom.  But that’s it…it never logs me in.  Anyone else experiencing this?
