It’s not really clear what you’re stating...
Signal boosters only boost cellular reception, not WiFi reception. WiFi boosters (or extenders) boost WiFi signals, not cellular signals. It’s possible you may need both. The terminology can cause confusion. It sounds like the signal booster is doing its job.
What are you using for WiFi access? Mobile hotspot or a gateway/router? More detail may be useful - i.e. specific signal booster. Are we talking TMobile Home Internet here?
