My Samsung Galaxy 10+ does not show a 5G option.

I followed T-Mobile’s directions to a T.
Swipe down from home screen.
Tap settings icon.
Tap Connections
Tap Mobile Networks
Select 5G option.

Except… there is no 5G option. It gives me the following:

LTE3G/2G (auto connect)
LTE 3G (auto connect)
2G Only.

I have triple checked. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ which everyone has assured me is 5G compatible. I checked to make sure all of the available updates are on the phone - they are.

Can someone please help me?

Thanks. My research sussed that out but thank you. I’ve already made arrangements to buy a new phone. Breaks my heart. This was the best phone I ever had.

If it is not the S10÷ 5G phone it will not show 5G. Not all of the S10+s are 5G compatible. I know for a fact as I just traded my S10+ in that was not 5G compatible.

    I have been assured it has 5G capabilities - Model # SM970U1

This just in: Looks like this phone has it's 5G function locked to Korean carriers. Looking at various forums, others have had similar issues with other Korean market only phones.

Is it a 5G phone? Doesn’t look like it from the specs.
