December of '24 I really though, finally, t- mobile fixed the two year long issue of my getting 9mbps, on a good day. I was shocked! I was getting 200-210 mbps! An unanticipated Christmas present.
I know, for most of you this seems little to celebrate. And thankfully I didn't get used to. Come January and still now (March), my "internet service" completely shuts off at night for 1/2-1 hour. From some of the posts I see I'm not the only one.
For three months I call nearly every day and want to set my hair on fire. I am put through the same SILLY nonsense of "what's your account"?
"Have you reset your you Gateway"? Yes, but why several times everyday? No one else does.
" It's congestion". No it isn't. The whole city didn't log on suddenly at 9:pm. The speed went from 200mbps to 0 in ten minutes.
"It's the lake". No it isn't. It's the same lake that it was all day, it didn't change properties into a signal eating monster. Besides, the 3 cell antennas are between me and the lake.
"It's large trees or new construction". No it's not! No tree suddenly grew 50 feet tall and no building was put up in the last 15 minutes.
"The tower Techs say it's the weather ". WHAT! It's been clear and sunny the last three days. Sounds more like they took an extra long lunch at Wild Wings.
I know they CAN deliver the "service" they promise and that I'm paying for monthly so.......
For those thinking, why not go to another provider? Well, for me AT&T is a non-starter. Verizon is worse for service and cu$tomer care. Spectrum, been there, done that. $tarlink! Not on your life. Musk is already robbing US taxpayers, he's not getting another penny from me. For those asking " what is he talking about", Tesla rebates, use of US launch sites for $tarlink satellites, US Govt. and US Military charged for use of $tarlink.... This is your money going to a billionaire.
