Domestic Coverage
I have the Essentials 55+ plan (unlimited text & data) and will be visiting a relative (in another state) who has no wifi. Will I incur additional charges for using my phone during my visit? If so, is there a fix to avoid using too much data?

As long as that state has native T-Mobile coverage where you are going. You should be fine. If you are going up into Alaska as an example. Things are different because T-Mobile has a roaming agreement with the carrier up there, which falls under domestic roaming, I believe.
