Ridiculously low speeds
Getting way under the advertised speeds even after a fresh payment to the bill. Just ran a test and have 11mb download speed and 1.5 mb upload crazy to charge so much a month when I can't even use half the features on my phone and during matters of urgency it can take 10 minutes to send a message to someone, pictures will say not sent and send multiple times to people. Videos will play 15 seconds and then buffer. Webpages will stop loading , data goes in and out between 5g, LTE and no service from my living room. 😑 I should have never left at&t atleast their networks work. Phone won't charge past 82% since I got it is there an email for support because I've already had issues with the store closest to me being rude when I was told to drop a phone off there .dutchmaster45 minutes agoVisitor4Views0likes0CommentsUnable to download billing statement.
I read a lot of comments about many T-Mobile users are having issues downloading their billing statements from their T-Mobile account whether is via phone app or online website. I am included with this same issue for more than a year now. Initially I was able to do it using phone app and for some reason it will not work today. I am so disappointed and pissed off with this provider, they not only up their monthly fees using very poor excuses. Their customer support service sucks big time, I am to a point of switching to another providers. There must be a legal way to take T-Mobile to court for ignoring and not fixing their portal which cause their paying customer so much inconvenience and unproductive time. If anyone knows of agencies who are taking legal action against T-Mobile for this issue, please share with me. Big corporation as such must be made to pay for their lack of responsiveness to their broken system.atangis575 hours agoVisitor8Views0likes0CommentsFranklin mobile hotspot duplicitous data dealing?
I have been using one of these mobile Wi-Fi hotspots for a few years, and I ALWAYS run out of data early. I have 100 gigs a month for 100.00 (I think. I should probably check though because T-Mobile encourages autopay so they can raise your service fees without you noticing). Anyway, I habitually run out of data about a week early. So I decided to go on a data diet. I was being very frugal about what was using my data because although my consumption had not changed, I was now running out of data much earlier. Like 10 days to 2 weeks early, even though my usage is relatively stable. The last few months, I have turning off the Wi-Fi hotspot or turning off the Wi-Fi on my computer so it can't hook up to it without my knowledge. I NEVER use this for my smart TV, it doesn't work. It just keeps buffering, so I don't even bother. Tonight I went out for a few hours my computer's WI-FI was off, my phone was with me, and the Franklin For instance, they will turn on the Wi-Fi calling in your phone's settings in the store when you buy it, so you hopefully won't realize how bad their service is. Or when they were buying sprint, they OBVIOUSLY were renting more access from towers owned by other carriers, so people would stop complaining about their awful service, so the FCC would approve the sale, and once it was approved, everybody's service went back to being spotty or non-existent. I have decided when my data rolls over again in 10 days to do an experiment. I am going to get a sim card for a hotspot only from AT&T, (who also sucks, let's not kid ourselves) and I am going to use the SECOND Franklin I got from Amazon for 15 dollars, instead of the 90 dollars T-Mobile charged me for one. So I am going to take the mobile hotspot #1 with the T-Mobile sim and sim card NOT use it, just leave it on idle while I use the second mobile hotspot with the AT&T sim card and see if I still blow through 100 gigs of data in under 3 weeks. Every single month I run out of data faster even though I KNOW I used less. I am going to document it all. I may even make a short YouTube video if it's totally obvious and unequivocally an issue with T-Mobile just stealing data to make me buy a different plan with MORE hotspot data included, like Experience or Experience Beyond. Furthermore, I am not sure, but I DO know when something doesn't make sense, and this blowing through data in two weeks makes absolutely no sense. I am going to take pictures of the data usage of both hotspots every single night for a month. Then I will know and I will post the results. Stay tuned...nomdeplume4207 hours agoRoaming Rookie5Views0likes0CommentsExtremely Slow Internet
I'm not sure why it's so slow. I used to run around 50 to 80 MPS now I'm lucky to have it run at 5 MPS, and for the last few days , it's been 0.5 or less, I'm paying for something I can't use to stream any videos, about the only thing it can be used for is shopping or Facebook, unless you try to watch a video on there.davesflsts038 hours agoNewbie Caller150Views3likes1CommentMy 5G HI gets slow, then speeds up after reset
I am new to the 5G Home Internet package from TMobile. Initially, the system was fine, speed was acceptable no problems with YouTube and Roku streaming. Lately, within the last couple weeks, during the early evening hours, say 5-7 PM, the system starts slowing down. Sometimes it gets so bad that I can not get on the Internet at all. And here is the kicker: All I have to do to get it to go back to normal is just reset the router. Today is a good example: around 2:50 PM, I was getting 540Mbps x 14.50Mbps. Then at 5:01 PM I was down to 27.85 x 0.21. I do a reset, and I jump back to 300 x 18.60. I spoke with Level 1 CSR and finally was speaking to who ever is in Manilla and was advised to place the router as close to the window as possible. I even had the router on the windows sill, but the morning son shines thru so I moved. I found a sweet spot just below the window and thought I had resolved the issue. But and that's when it went down to 27.85 x 0.21, and resolved it by the reset. Anybody have any thoughts on this? Is it my router? Ask for a replacement? Go back to AT&T? Thanks.Michael428 hours agoVisitor13Views0likes0CommentsT-Mobile Begins Cellular Starlink Beta, But It Only Works on These Samsung Phones

On Tuesday, a number of T-Mobile subscribers reported receiving access to T-Mobile's "direct-to-cell" Starlink beta program, which the company announced last month.T-Mobile has been notifying eligible customers through text messages, according to social media posts. One included a screenshot showing a T-Mobile account subscribed to the satellite network. The technology lets you send text messages without relying on traditional ground-based cell towers. Instead, the phone relays the text messages using orbiting Starlink satellites, giving consumers a way to remain connected in cellular dead zones, similar to Apple’s Emergency SOS satellite messaging for iPhones. When we asked about the beta launch, T-Mobile said: "We continue to make great progress toward a full beta test availability; more details to come soon." In the meantime, the carrier also published a new support document that reveals the cellular Starlink system only works on five Samsung models for now: the Galaxy Z Flip 6 5G, Galaxy Z Fold 6 5G, Galaxy S24 5G, Galaxy S24 Plus 5G, and Galaxy S24 Ultra 5G. “Text messages may take longer than normal to be sent while connected to the T-Mobile Starlink satellite network,” the support document says. “Picture and video messaging is not included during the beta phase.” Recommended by Our Editors Starlink's $50-Per-Month 'Backup' Plan Has One Big Downside Elon Musk Using Cybertrucks As Starlink Stations for LA Fire Relief AST SpaceMobile's Large Satellites to Roll and Tilt to Prevent Astronomy Interference Eligible phones will only switch to satellite connectivity if customers are in an area without traditional cell or roaming services. “Manually selecting the T-Mobile Starlink network will not work while other cellular connection options are available,” the document adds. “When connected to T-Mobile Starlink, your device will display T-Mobile SpaceX at the top-left side of your screen.” SpaceX recently secured approval from the FCC to operate the cellular Starlink technology commercially. T-Mobile has not announced pricing, but SpaceX plans to eventually support data and voice calls via the cellular Starlink service. T-Mobile has also activated the cellular Starlink tech for customers living in areas of Los Angeles devastated by the recent wildfires. The same satellites will also beam emergency alerts to all phones in the affected areas, regardless of carrier.jim134812 hours agoTransmission Trainee11KViews0likes16CommentsSuspended Lines - Not Even 30 Days Past Due
I was in complete shock when T-Mobile suspended our service not even 30 days past the due date. They turned them of 26 days past due. Charge $20 per line to be turned back on, $100 to turn all our phones back on for not even being 30 days past the due date. Our bill is typically never late, we have had a day or two behind over the years and maybe once or twice over the last 18 years that we have been with T-mobile we might have let a bill slide by and not realize it until we get next months bill. It is not a regular occurrence, you think they would have some grace period. I am still blown away that only 26 days late and they suspended our plan, per text at 8:00 A.M. on 2/2. As soon as I saw that they were going to suspend the lines if I didn't pay the past due pmt I settled up a little after 8:00 A.M that same morning. I had meant to pay it that Friday 1/31, but mom life and I got side tracked and it slipped. I knew my next bill was due 2/6 so it was on my mind that I needed to get the large balance paid. My phone wasn't shut off until later that night after 10:00p.m of 2/2, which was odd since I had settled up with them that morning and used my phone just fine that day. I noticed when I did get on my account that I paid to have the phones reactivated on 2/2 around 8:00 A.M which matched up to the confirmation time I received once I paid, shortly after receiving the notice of the lines possibly could be suspended. Then I have each lines showing on 2/2 at 10:02 p.m that they suspended the lines, which makes sense why a few calls I tried to make didn't go through. I later found out that the following morning 2/3 my friend had been trying to call me and none of her attempts had gone through until the late morning. Do you think that they have any information on past due bills and how long before they will suspend your lines anywhere to be found easily or at all? I don't always want or need to waste my time calling customer care, I prefer not to as they have gone to trash as well. Everyone is so rude and unhelpful. I guess T-mobile just does what ever pleases them and will suspend everyone at different times, as I saw someone was 33 day past their due date. They were stating/complaining how T-mobile was going to be suspending their line when they were ONLY 33 days past due. If I didn't have an old plan that was grandfathered in, I would NOT be staying with T-mobile.mamabear312 hours agoNewbie Caller437Views2likes4Comments- AsherH13 hours agoVisitor29Views0likes1Comment
