Google Voice number unable to set up
When trying to set up for a Google Voice phone number, the message received is, “The number can’t be used to sign up for a Google Voice Number. Try verifying with another number.” What can I do?
Some states have regulations on numbers allowed based on various factors…
For example Hawaii. IN order to give out 808 numbers you communications business must have a physical address in Hawaii and must be available to Hawaii residents. So Google CAN’T distribute Hawaii 808 numbers using Google Voice as Google doesn’t have a physical address office and business here.
