What do I need to do to enable OEM unlocking?

The setting is no longer greyed out, so I guess I did just have to wait.

Your a lifesaver, you just answered my question and saved me from having to buy a new phone and pay to unlock the sim card 😂💀 (I still have to wait until 12/07/2024 to unlock the bootloader tho, and yes the sim card is still locked 😭😭)
But question, for the sim card, if I temporarily unlock it, will it still add my 40 days during the process until it can be permanently unlocked or would it be paused, and then after 30 days of it being temporarily unlocked, will it resume the 40 days until I can unlock it??
