My phone won't allow me to verify my phone number on apps
Are you a prepaid or postpaid customer?
If you are a prepaid customer, some apps, companies, and services choose not to allow prepaid numbers be used for verification and 2FA. It could also be that short codes are not enabled on your account.
If you are a postpaid customer, you might need to reach out to Customer Care at 611 or reach out to T-Mobile via DM on Facebook or Twitter and request that shortcodes are enabled on your account.
