Phone description
In my T-Mobile account my phone is listed by the wrong description. It is a Galaxy Flip 5 and on t-mobile it is shown as a Galaxy s 4g. This keeps me from setting up 5g media settings. It says device...
No I bought both phones unlocked from Samsung direct when I was still with Verizon. Much better deals and no bloatware.
Phones not sold by Tmobile are assigned a phone description . My Google purchased Pixels show as different phones.

My Pixels are finally listed as unlocked Android phone instead of an iPhone 8 which is better. Was the Samsung bought using T-Mobile financing? T-mobile only shows the correct phone if the imei was purchased through T-Mobile. My phones description used to change from time to time.
