forgot voicemail password

I forgot my voicemail password.  I taped a reminder on the back of the device and even know what it means but nothing I type works.

    Thanks Gramps! That is the code for resetting the voicemail password. We also have one that allows you to turn off the voicemail password. Check out all of our self-service short codes here: Self-service short codes | T-Mobile Support

    Try #793# in your dialer . It will reset it to the last 4 digits of your phone number.

I hadn’t used my voicemail for months, and I forgot my PIN, so I came here. Thankfully, I was able to reset my PIN, but now it’s more digits than I want, and I honestly don’t want to keep it. How do I change it now? Going into my settings doesn’t really help, since there’s no “Change PIN” option.
