cellphone hotspot being blocked

FYI, I am not using a hotspot device, I am using the hotspot function that comes with the android tmobile cellphone. From the error codes from chrome and mozilla, it looks to me like the cellphone is not supporting HSTS. gmail.com has now implemented a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox and Chrome from my cellphone can only connect to email accounts securely, with no possibility of a redirect.
