no insurance

So about a year half ago,  i paid off my phone.  At the time i decided i didnt want to continue to pay the 20 a month for insurance.  So for over a year ive been fine.  Today the phone for the first time in almost 2 years has a crack.   Without insurance what options are there to get a new phone.  There is a place here in town that will fix it for 200 which is a option but from what im told the S9 will be faded out soon due to not being 5G.   So just wasnt sure of my options.   I guess if possible id like to figure out how to upgrade to a 5G.
