Can I switch to Verizon get google sec updates and swtich back?

I have a S9+ T-mobile are not doing the google sec updates anymore, unlike other carriers. So my choices are:

  1. Upgrade.
  2. Switch carriers.
  3. Can I switch with a pay to play, get updates then switch back?

I can’t use phone for work anymore as its not compliant.

    plus carriers dont do the security updates..thats the manufacturer and well Google.

    I would upgrade since the phone is almost 4 years old and security updates for Samsung is usually only good for 3 years.
