Calling voicemail with a non T-Mobile phone
I have an unlocked Verizon phone, with T-mobile service. Everything seems to work fine, except the only way I can get my voicemail is to dial 805-637-7243. If I dial 1, I get a message saying the call cannot be completed as dialed. Is there anyway to get my phone to recognize the T-mobile voicemail without having to dial the number and enter my pass code?

Most of the times, the voicemail number is programmed into the phone settings. This is why it calls the full number when you hold down the 1 key.
Have you tried installing Visual Voicemail? Good to get in the habit of using VVM, particularly if you travel abroad very often.
I don’t know how to do that. Any clue?
Have you tried editing the dial 1 voice mail number to reflect the new number?7
