Android 14/One UI 6 update for Samsung s22 ultra
I have the s22 ultra, and I've yet to get any significant updates; is this because my phone is unlocked on tmobile network? I'm still on android 13, one ui 5.1 I haven't even had a update in over 2 y...
Try using Samsung Smart switch on PC and connect your phone. If there is an update it'll update your phone.
Updates flow over all of the carrier networks. The one exception, is AT&T devices. AT&T has deals with some of the larger cellphone manufacturers to host their updates locally on the AT&T network. Unlocked firmware (XAA) get updates normally. If you have a SIM unlocked AT&T device, you might want to consider converting it to the T-mobile (TMB) or non-carrier firmware (XAA).
