Trading in iphone - find my iPhone "off"
Hello - looking for someone who maybe know how to do this. I called tmobile afte I got a message stating that my trade in was not accepted due to a setting on the device. Long story short, I didn't take off tracking and clear the data from the phone before mailing. Apple tells me to go to settings, etc....and gives directions, however it appears to me the iphone i already turned off. I am unable to do factory reset as Tmobile website keeps saying "go to settings on your phone". The phone has already been mailed unfortunately. Anyone know a way around this?
T-Mobile is running a phone trade in scam.
I have had such an awful experience trying to solve this lost trade in phone issue that I am just utterly frustrated and angry with customer service. I have PROOF the phone was delivered, even the customer service representative admitted they have it, but I can’t get credit for it. I have been lied to, ignored, I don’t feel like a long time valued customer with T-Mobile, quite the opposite. In my opinion they are without a doubt the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am still out my $300 trade in. Knowing what I know now I will NEVER trade in a phone with T-Mobile again, just a horrible experience.I hate that customer service is being outsourced to different countries
I’m not racist. I’m not looking down on anyone. It’s just hard to speak to customer service reps from out of the US. They are limited on what they can do. Half of the time what they say doesn’t end up happening how they explain. They say one thing and it’s wrong. I had someone give me a whole plan and saying he’d make a request to help us upgrades phones. Nothing he said was right or true. He was a manager! I spoke to someone in the US and they explained it all to me perfectly. I wasn’t happy with the results but it made sense, it was accurate information. I understood the details and how Tmobile worked. When I had another issue, a rep again from out the US made promises. Nothing happened how they said it would. I called customer service again and I got someone in the states, and again they fixed everything within mins. I hate this customer service.
