How to report a phone scam?
Received a scam text from a number hosted by T-Mobile. How do I report it?
Send copies of scam text messages to 7726.
actually if it was from TMO then yes this is in fact changing. if you scan down the forum you posted in here and look at the other threads you’ll see a few other threads talking about this specifically.

I received a payment scam saying it was tmobile. The amount didnt make sense so I was sure it was spam. I forwarded it to 7726. Here is a screenshot.
RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING TEXT AT 12:23am, 04/25/22: QUOTE: HI, WONDERFUL T-MOBILE USER! TMOBILE NETWORK IS GIVING OUT $700 TO ALL USERS AS A COMPENSATION OF THE BAD NETW TO ORK DURING THE COVID 19 CRISIS, KINDLY TEXT CODE (202)556-1019 TO CLAIM THE FUNDS TODAY. UNQUOTE
Send copies of scam text messages to 7726.
I never received a call. It was only a text message with a phishing link from someone claiming to be C H A S E.
Are you sure it wasn’t just a faked caller ID? It happens all the time.
