I have had this since they first came out. I have one on every car and it's great! The kids love the hot spot for wifi. I enjoy the peace of mind with the road side protect and the car health updates. I am married to a mechanic and we own a scan tool to read codes but we do not have to use it cause this tells us before a light comes on. I also love knowing where my family is, I can check to make sure they made it to school or work without waiting for them to remember to text me or calling because I worry. And you can set alerts if you don't want your teenagers newly driving out of a certain area. You make them limits, and it tells you!! I do not want to not have this product! The price you pay is worth the piece of mind!

They need to work on Real Time Tracking in order to have a more accurate and reliable GPS tracking. Also, the push notifications need to be faster and more responsive in case there is a DISTURBANCE with your vehicle. The notifications don’t have sound or a certain ping to inform you of what the actual problem is or if someone hit, bumped, or is towing your vehicle away. The app doesn’t do everything it specified in the features only certain things work as advertised. Like the WIFI HOTSPOT, Battery Life, Fuel level, and Gas Stations from Low to High Gas Prices. Other than that, the device has potential. Just needs more work and more frequent updates on Bug Fixes. Overall, I give this device a rating of 1 out of 5. I wouldn’t recommend this product to anybody due to the experience I’ve dealt with and the delay of the GPS Tracking connection between the device and the phone. I’m using an IPhone 13. Hope this helps and gives anyone some piece of mind before going out and purchasing this device.

I got this to monitor my car's health.
It was easy to install and setup using the app.
The device monitors my car's health just fine, so it works for me.
The app has built-in roadside assistance, and a section that tells you nearby gas stations with gas prices.
It also keeps track of the trips made and driving speeds. So it would be great for monitoring your teen's driving habits and to see where they've been going. You can set virtual boundaries so you can be notified if the car is going outside of the set boundaries. The same goes for speeds, you can set a maximum speed and you'll be notified if the maximum speed is exceeded.
I don't really use the Wi-Fi, so I can't comment on that, but I don't need the Wi-Fi since my phone has cellular data capabilities.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Everything considered the device works as intended but a major flaw is the built in wifi that I was so happy about which was a main reason for my purchase of this item , it sucks doesn’t allow my phone to load anything which seems unfair as your paying for a service for the item towards having wifi in your car

I've been struggling with Device since December. Constant connection issues. I was lucky to get 2 weeks of interrupted service and now it's not creating a Wi-Fi connection anymore. Attempted to reset several times and contacted T-Mobile Support. Was on the phone for 70 minutes (no joke) and all they could do was read the manual to me over the phone and telling me to insert a sim-card when there is no sim-card slot present. I've never struggled with a device / service provider as much as I have with this thing. $150 spent on the device and service for 14 days of service. Completely unacceptable!!

Nothing but problems

I was forced to switch from my sprint drive which was amazing to this new T-Mobile SyncUP drive and have had nothing but problems. The system never updates, the gps has a delay of about a mile. It will never update the fuel level on the app it has a mileage reading on the app that does not update. The Wi-Fi will not let you update the password nor will it allow my car to connect to the Wi-Fi this has become the worst system ever. I hope they will refund my monthly charge or reactivate my old system

Has worked flawless in California

Got these as a way to track my cars and they've been flawless since day 1. Accuracy for me in northern California is pretty accurate to a few feet. It shows in the app 1 car located on the street and another in my garage pretty much where they are parked. Has ability for you set boundary notifications to alert you if the car moves outside your specified area you can create on the map in the app. Alerts when it sense motion while parked. Wife works good for connecting to car to stream but most of the time I use my phones Hotspot. Cheapest plan compared to other 3rd parties and tmobile promo you get the device for free as long as you keep the line for 24 months. Use an obd2 splitter and you can hide it in the dash and thief wouldn't know it's there if they steal your car.
