Re: Bait and switch
Same here. The sales agents are very corrupt, tell you one thing when signing up but radically different after-the-fact. And Customer Service is a joke - they have no idea what the sales people are saying. My suggestion: when calling Customer Service the calls are recorded. T-mobile should do the same thing for the sales agents. They will lie through their teeth, the T-mobile has you trapped.113Views2likes2CommentsRe: Reaching out to T-Mobile via Email
I am likewise frustrated with T-mobile customer support. In my case, the T-mobile salesperson was VERY misleading. He wanted me to try out the 5G WiFi with a 30 day trial period. Very clear that the trial period was 30 days. When I returned the unit after 20 days (lots of buffering), was informed the trial was only 14 days and I was charged $40 for the worthless trial. Then he wrote on a Post-it note in big letters "2-lines = $110 - insider code = $20" = Total $90/month. However, when the bill was posted it was #110: no insider code. Returned to the store and the salesperson was "surprised" that the code wasn't there, called the supervisor over to try to figure it out. Bottom line was he had switched me to another plan that the code didn't work for. Refused to keep the original commitment. T-mobile widely publicized a "free" S25+ phone. I emphasize the plus (+) version. But when I asked for my "free" phone it ended up costing me $200 up-front; the limit was a maximum of $800 credit. The "free" phone was only for the smaller, less memory, S25 model. So much for "free". I called T-mobile "customer support" and got a very professional and courteous agent who politely listened, but took a very hard line, corporate stand and unbending position. NONE of the misleading sales promises would be made whole. I asked to escalate to management; she put me on as short hold and came back with the bad news. I asked to escalate it to corporate; she said they had no email address (really??? this is 2025!) and gave me a snailmail address. That's my next step. Finally, to add insult to injury, I got notice that my 1st payment was delinquent. Even though I was signed-up for autopay through my bank (to receive the $10/month discount). I paid by credit card, now relinquishing my $10 discount while T-mobile straightens out whatever their problem is. I anticipate another stonewall trying to recover my $10.37Views0likes0Comments
