Re: T-Mobile breaking promises to seniors who were offered price-lock guarantee for life on 55+ rate plans
I contacted a T-Mobile rep through their website chat, and of course, they were of no help. I am a legacy Sprint customer on a $60 UNLIMITED PLAN. That's the freaking name of it! (Despite what T-Mobile tried doing. They renamed it to Magenta or some BS after purchasing Sprint, because raising rates was their intention all along. Ex: Buy up the users and then hike rates. Classic sleezy business tactic.) It wasn't named $65 UNLIMITED, T-Mobile! You getting that?! This is beyond frustrating. I already filed a complaint with the FCC after seeing others online suggesting to do the same, and may file an additional complaint with BBB next. I think that's our only real chance here. I left T-Mobile a 1-Star review after chatting and they immediately began calling me. I answered the call, but was met with some overseas call center rep. who I immediately had to dismiss as I was at work. P.S. I asked the chat support what do they offer to really upset customers who are ready to leave, and she offered me another plan that would be $55 a month, so I would save money. I quickly saw that the plan she was offering was in fact worse, so I flat out told her that's a joke of an offer. "Hey, we know you're mad, so here is a worse plan to save you money." What a joke!601Views0likes0CommentsRe: Tmobile had a data breach in August 2021 and now my SSN has been found on the dark web

And that T-Mobile offers SCAM SHIELD PREMIUM, which could help alleviate this, but expects us to pay for it? Shouldn’t they offer that to all of us for free for at least a year to help deal with our data suddenly being exposed? I’m going to start researching my next wireless provider. I’m not going to wait until T-Mobile loses my actual payment info to someone nefarious. And their track record so far doesn’t lead me to believe this won’t happen. How's your T-Mobile experience now days? 😁192Views0likes0CommentsRe: How do I check if my account was in the breach?
I don't even remember a data breach for T-Mobile. Now, I'm kind of curious if my info was involved. I was a merged customer from Sprint. I'd recommend locking your credit score, so if anyone does try to use your SSN, you have it locked. They'd have to take further steps to unlock it, which they likely would not.1.5KViews1like0CommentsRe: Tmobile rebate card doesnt work through Northlane

The customer service representative assured me that everything was OK with the debit card and it could be used immediately. So the following are the transactions I attempted today: Shell Gas Station $1 Approved @ 10:07AM Shell Gas Station $30 Approved @ 12:15PM VW Dealership $24.73 Declined @ 12:33PM VW Dealership $24.73 Declined @ 13:04PM RaceTrac Gas Station $5.00 Declined @ 1:28PM Shell Gas Station $5.00 Approved @ 1:40PM Interestingly enough, I called Onbe customer service to discuss the VW dealership declining the 12:33PM transaction. I was told “fraud detection” flagged the transaction at the VW dealership. The procedure required me to wait 30 minutes and then attempt to use the virtual payment method again. Unfortunately, despite confirming with Onbe customer service concerning the validity of this $24.73 transaction, the VW dealership declined the transaction for the 2nd time. So I tried to purchase fuel at 2 additional gas stations. RaceTrac declined $5.00 @ 1:28PM and Shell approved $5.00 @ 1:40PM. Needless to say there continues to be tremendous frustration in attempted usage and limited approval of these $200 T-Mobile virtual debit cards. Keep in mind that gas stations may sometime push through a large pre-auth charger of $100-$200. Perhaps that it why you’re seeing declines. Outside of that….I’ve got no explanation and the card should work for consumers. I’d be frustrated too!57Views0likes0CommentsIs T-Mobile blocking links via SMS? If so, why and how can I add permissions? (E.g., Mavely and Amzn.to links specifically.)
When I try to share good deals and savings links to my friends or family via text, the links from Mavely (mavely.app.link) and Amazon Associate shortened (amzn.to) links are being blocked. The links are not received by iPhone and Android users from testing. The only workaround solution I have is to send the links in Snapchat or WhatsApp. Note: I am using an S20+ device with Google Messages as my primary app. I just used Samsung Messages (stock app) and the link still is not received by the end user. Also, I deleted Spam Shield to see if that for some reason was the issue, which it clearly is not. WHAT GIVES?!136Views0likes0Comments
