Payment Support Fee?
Just upgraded my phone to the Samsung S25 Ultra. I did it through the App as they had a special to avoid the $30 activation fee in store. First bill shows a "Payment Support Fee" for $10. This was never displayed ahead of time. And no idea what is means. I am calling TMobile again as they did this last month when we updated my son's iphone with some weird fee the store never told us about...and the CSR could not explain the fee but gave me credit. I have a Samsung S23 Ultra that apparently has 2 hard SIMS. I also have a Thai eSim on it. I read that I would use the Smart Switch app to transfer the data from my S23 to my new S25 Ultra. I assume that transfers the phone number from Sim (S23) to eSim (S25) as the S25 only has eSims? Is that right...? I have a Samsung s23 Ultra I bought from Samsung a few year ago (long time Tmobile/Sprint customer). I did not know but is apparently unlocked even though I was on an installment plan. I travel often and install an eSim and now have 1 from Thailand that I do not want to lose as my Thai number is tied to my Thai (online) bank account also. I want to upgrade to the Samsung s25 Ultra but Tmobile tells me I cannot transfer and use my Thai eSim since the S25 will be on an installment plan (24 months). I do not understand why not as I will still use/keep my Tmobile Sim. Also why do they have eSim anyway? I see there is a feature on my S23 to temporarily unlock the phone, I guess to use the eSim but it does not say how long. When I Google is implied 30 days but I am away sometimes more than that. Could I just unlock it again (after the 30 days expire)? Is the temporaty Unlock request fast? Do I need to do it from the USA or can I do it overseas (my plan wth Tmobile is free overseas). Ssame issue.. I had Hulu free with my old plan then canceled after 1 year as they wanted to charge me. I am not on the g0 55 plan and when I click to Manage Add Ons - Hulu it links me over to Hulu but they want me to sign up for a paid plan. Is there some code I need to use, etc? Chatted with Tmobile support on the App. He said there was an MLB offer again in late March that expired April 2 that i never saw. Not sure why prior offer expired for Magenta plan. I was a Sprint customer. I cannot login to the Tmobile website.. i get routed to a Sprint sign in page and it says my account closed after i sign in. I prefer to use the website to download bills, etc. However the Tmobile app works fine. Also I get many ‘timeout errors” on login and this Community.382Views0likes2Comments
