Free phone bullcrap
I have been a Sprint (now T-Mobile) customer for 23 years. I have never had a contract. I DO NOT LIKE CONTRACTS. I am not happy with the transition to 5G that causes the phone I personally paid for to be worthless. So I am terminating my relationship with the company. Although you are offering a so-called free phone it has strings attached. I do not like this tactic. It is NOT REALLY free I understand. Credits are taken out for 24 months until the phone is paid for. THAT AMOUNTS TO A CONTRACT. If one terminates, one has to pay for the phone. If you are going to provide a phone it should be free with NO STRINGS ATTACHED, especially after a customer has been with the company 23 years. One would think that a low budget phone could REALLY be provided for free, especially to a long tern customer This tactic that is supposed to keep me with the company has the OPPOSITE effect and has prompted me to terminate this relationship. I used to be a CFO at a law firm and I certainly know what a financing plan is. Part of my payment is allocated toward paying the cost of the phone over a 24 month period. If I default and pull out (stop making payments), the remaining balance is due. That’s a contract, a financing plan. Don’t fool customers by indicating the phone is free. Honesty is the best policy.237Views2likes1Comment
