Stolen phone over seas
Hi i had a question regarding phone insurance overseas. in the past when i was under my moms plan i had my phone stolen over seas and i got a new one with insurance back on arrival to the US. but i wanted to know if there is any way to get a new one when in another country with the same phone insurance incase of solo travel. and if it were to happen again.
WhatsApp calls
My plan includes unlimited data (and messaging) out of the country. I called T-Mobile to ask a couple of questions about using the phone while out of the country, and the Tech Support agent told me not to make WhatsApp (or Facetime) calls because they count as calls and are charged at the rate of $0.25/min. I argues that WhatsApp calls consume data, not voice minutes, but he still said I will be charged if I make WhatsApp calls if not connected to wifi. Is he right?
Wifi Calling While Traveling Overseas
Will I still be able to receive text messages and phone calls from the U.S via Wifi-Calling with my prepaid plan if I am traveling overseas? The destination country is Vietnam. My plan is $15 Connect by TMO UNL Talk&Text w/ 3GB Data - 1 Month (capped). My phone is Samsung Galaxy J7. Thanks.
