T-Mobile Play sends notifications about random stuff (mostly news I don’t care about). There is no way to disable these notifications or uninstall T-Mobile Play. Please help! This thread may be related but I do not understand the solution they are suggesting. I followed these steps but future notifications cannot be disabled. I have REVVL 5G. https://community.t-mobile.com/android-9/s21-after-android-12-update-can-t-get-rid-of-t-mobile-notifications-39427Solved4.5KViews0likes21CommentsRevvl 5 g phones overheating and battery not keeping charge
My wife and I both have the Revvl 5G phones. One is a few months old, and the other is 2 years. We have consistent problems with the phones randomly overheating. Also, recently the batteries in both of our phonesaren’t keeping a charge. Wonder if others have run into these issues, and what solutions they have found?462Views0likes2CommentsRevvl V+ 5G is randomly deleting contacts
Have had my new Revvl V+ 5G phone for about 2 months now, and for the most part, it is GREAT! However, every once in a while, I’ll notice some of my contacts go missing. (I first noticed when the text messages from my husband stopped showing his name and just the phone #. It then happened for some of my co-workers, a couple of friends, etc.) And it isn’t a one-time occurrence, this is randomly happening every week or two. Any thoughts as to why, or how to correct? Thanks!7.1KViews5likes26CommentsRevvl 6 Pro Gmail attachments
Hello, I’ve been searching for a solution for unable to download attachments in the Gmail app on this device. I recently got the new phone about 2 weeks ago. I’ve done the “fixes” seen in the Google forums for Gmail attachment issues, but it will not fix it. I have also uninstalled the update for Gmail, then reinstalled it. Mimicked settings for Gmail just like my old phone (a Motorola) and it still will not download attachments. Yet, when I added my Gmail account to the Microsoft Outlook app, I am able to download attachments from my Gmail account. Anyone else have this issue? I’m at a loss for what else to do.5.1KViews1like46Comments- 3.5KViews2likes25Comments
REVVEL 6 5g- Files
I am trying to give access to files however, it doesn't let me. it keeps saying 0 of 0 apps. And I can't open files on GroupMe or any app that I need to open files on. I already updated the app, restarted the phone, restart the app preferences, uninstalled and installed the app, etc. What else can I do? and it's a brand new phone.36Views0likes0CommentsLost ability to downsize picture attachments
Prior to the last month or so, when I shared a picture from my google photos by email, I could select to send a smaller size picture than the original. Now, I am not shown that menu, and I can’t find a way to send smaller size pictures. What am I missing?68Views0likes1CommentT Mobile should issue refunds for the Revvl 5G
The Revvl 5G blocks a number of important apps from running in the background, such as Life360 and WheresMyDroid. This, even though they are listed as NOT being battery optimized and should be allowed to run. The OS lets them run for about an hour, then shuts them down. After fighting with T-Mobile, trying a million different “solutions” (none of which worked) and also trying to work with Life360 and Where’sMyDroid, I finally gave up. I paid to get the screen fixed - which had cracked DESPITE being in an Otterbox and having a screen protector (last time I buy an Otterbox, what a waste). Just to make that clear - I got it fixed, which means they sent me a new phone. Exactly the same problem. So it wasn’t because my particular phone was faulty. I got the Galaxy A52. Immediately, everything just works. No problems. No hassles. No idiocy with tweaks that don’t work. THE REVVL 5G IS A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. I’m furious that I had to waste over $200 to find that out. T-Mobile should do the right thing and issue a refund for anyone who wants one.2.7KViews3likes12CommentsT-Mobile Revvl 6 5G Boot loop and com.android.phone error
I got this error for two Revvl 6 phones (returned 1st one, got the second and got this error in 36 hours after initial setup, the same as for the first phone). In 36 hours the problem started again on a new phone. Nothing helps. Full reset helps for a few hours and the problems starts again. The phone is new, nothing special is installed , only added Google Account and some apps restored using Google account (basic apps, like Facebook, Whatsapp etc). The error The errors com.android.phone pops up and in a few seconds the phone restarts by itself. Boot loop forever unless you remove SIM card. The following message displayed after restart When I press “Try again”, I get the same error and restart again. Full video of the error and boot loop: https://mega.nz/file/JQ0xSQbQ#SfmNQmLz3rVlXhjS_phu0_N-vcqJtXSx6Dz5hjJzRzY I tried multiple T-Mobile SIM cards and get the same issue for both phones. The problem does not exist if the phone started without SIM card. The phone is updated to the latest available version of Android (Android 12) and latest security patch (March 2023). I am not sure 100% but this problem is related to IMS registration. I had the same problem for my old T-Mobile’s LG-G4. At some point this phone became incompatible with T-Mobile VoLTE and started to trigger this error (but without bootloop). IMS was not registered after this error. I cannot verify this theory because Revvl 6 bootloops without possibility to check the status of IMS. T-Mobile should be ashamed of selling such low quality and buggy device.2KViews0likes1Comment
