I recommended a couple to T-Mobile hoping to benefit from their $50 Refer-a-Friend program, but despite my numerous efforts to register for the reward, I have been unsuccessful. Based on comments from others in the same situation, I'm beginning to question the legitimacy of this program. Can someone from T-Mobile help?393Views2likes2CommentsHome Internet Promo: $200 Prepaid Virtual Card (Total Joke)
Hi, T-Mobile Community! I’m hopping on to introduce myself as one of the latest suckers who foolishly fell for the $200 prepaid virtual Mastercard home internet promotion! I switched from another perfectly good internet provider after being lured in by the promo. I activated my service in August andsubmitted for the promo online in September. Icalled customer service after about 5 weeks. I was then told to expect the card near the beginning of October. When I didn’t receive it, I called again and was told to expect it on November 7th, right at the 8 week mark. I did notice my status changed from “received” to “approved” on the online tracker. This morning I called Customer service and was told it’s actually not approved, but “pending,” and that I should check again at the end of this month because processing takes at least ten weeks. As much fun as the anticipation, uncertainty, and inconsistency has been, I think I’m going to go ahead and go back to my former provider. This whole gaslit bit is not for me. If this has happened to you, know that you are not alone!! And if you’re someone who is considering switching providers for and advertised rebate orpromotion, please reconsider!265Views2likes3CommentsT-Mobile Internet - $200 Pre-Paid Mastercard - STILL WAITING
I switched to T-Mobile Internet over 3 months ago. The $200 Pre-paid Mastercard within 10 weeks was an incentive that led to me making this choice. It has been 12 weeks and I have not heard a thing. Has anyone had a similar experience? I am preparing to switch back to my previous provider if this is how they treat customers.10KViews13likes25CommentsWhy am I still not able to file for my $200 rebate? Home internet

I switched over to T-Mobile internet service on 11/29 and was told I qualified for a promotion they were running for a 50” television. I was told I would receive more information via text and/or through my account. I never received anything. I went out of town for Christmas and still received nothing. So I called customer service today. On the first call I spoke to KeKe, I was told the promotion I was asking about had expired on 11/29 - I had thought I changed over on 12/9. I went back and found my service contract signed at 8:46 p.m. PST on 11/29 while the promotion was still in place. I called customer service again and spoke with Jessica. She first said the order wasn’t entered until 11/30 and I told her I would be happy to send the contract. Then she said it was after midnight EST so the promotion was expired. I told her I signed the contract at 11:46 EST and, again, I would be happy to send the contract. Then I was told I only had 30 days to submit the promo code and that time had passed. I told her I never received the promo code. She asked if I had followed up and I told her I reached out to customer service in mid-December. The person I spoke with at that time seemed to have no clue what I was talking about, but she assured me I would be receiving something and I needn’t worry because the offer would be good for 30 days from the time I received the information. Then Jessica proceeded to tell me the only call I had made to their customer service was on Dec. 9 and it was not about the promotion, but about setting up my gateway. I told her, again, I did talk to someone and asked her why she thought I would make that up. At that point she said there was nothing she could do and I no longer qualified for the promotion. I’ve had T-Mobile cell service for 20 years and had looked forward to moving internet over because the service has always been outstanding. Now, it seems, they’re just like every other service. Customers are liars. Customers don’t matter. And if customers lose out because T-Mobile employees don’t do their jobs - well too bad.333Views0likes2Commentshighly dont reccomend t mobile
Highly recommend no one shopping here again. We had an absolutely terrible experience where we were just lied to. They told us our phones would receive full trade in value …. 3-4 months later they decided never mind. Said one phone had “fine lines” and increased our phone plan. They didn’t tell us about fees. They lied about how much the total for the plan would be and now are trying to say there is nothing they can do. After 3/4 months our bill jumped about 70 dollars. We went to the one in Fayetteville. Worst decision ever. Idk if anyone else has dealt with this. How they handled it. What they did. Also if you are thinking about switching. I HIGHLY suggest not doing that, they will tell you any lie to get you to sign up and change things months after.825Views3likes4CommentsScammed by T-mobile, now what?
Tmobile said I was getting 800 on trade in and a free watch. So I gave them my Note 10 Plus along with 475 cash in exchange for an S23 Ultra and a supposedly free watch. I was told the phone was paid in full and the watch was free and that they were switching my plan to 55+ to lower my bill. Then the bill came and it had gone up by over 100 a month, they've been charging me monthly for the phone and for the watch since April of 2023 and say I owe them over 750 for the phone. Now I am not so dumb as to ever agree to trade my phone and also pay over 2500 for any new phone and I never wanted the watch that they are charging me 400 for and another 14 a month to connect it even tho I have never once used it. I went to the BBB website and it says TMOBILE is not a BBB member I have had zero luck with the aproximately 3 hrs a week for 10 months thatI've spent talking to customer service then I find out they've been charging me 10 dollars for each of call. I've been paying for all those wasted hours where they always make empty promises I don't know what to do about this Ive been a customer for nearly 20 years Do I need a lawyer? Is there a way to file some kindof official complaint? Any advice would be appreciated2KViews3likes8Comments
