I have had T-Mobile for about 6-months and have learned my connection hinges on my gateway placement. Did you use the placement app on the T-Mobile Internet app to ensure your gateway is pointed at your assigned cell tower? Also, because the antennas are located near the edges of the gateway housing (Arcadian and Sagemcom), rotating the gateway a few degrees and checking your metrics will provide a better chance for a solid signal.
I am currently happy with my connectivity.
