Dollar Car Rental Discount - problems
LOVE this discount! It’s significant and valuable. I’ve used it twice so far--both times had significant problems on Dollar’s end. Make sure you a) make your reservation through the T-Life app and b) screenshot/save your Reservation showing the Discount Code. You will need it later when Dollar charges you for fuel fill up (at highest price) and a service fee.
Thanks, T-Mobile for this benefit!

How do you modify or cancel ? I’m being sent in circles, no option on dollar and no option in the Tlife app to modify or cancel.

Yes but it was time consuming. I called Dollar 800 customer service and they canceled it

Who is false advertising? TMobile or Dollar rental car. I was charged for the gas mileage that was supposed to be taken care of with the the discount. We are disputing our credit card charges because Dollar rental is saying they have no idea what I am talking about when I did the reservation at the Dollar office and the person behind the counter told me he added it to my rental. I am going to report this as fraud. I would have never used rental to begin with.

I'm having the same issue, did you get an answer?

Sadly nothing but problems trying to use the benefit of the fuel discount in the T-mobile app. Made the reservation on the T-Life and showed the code to desk representative for my rental and still was charged $75 because it somehow didn’t show on my reservation. It’s a great incentive if it actually works.

Same thing happened to me with Dollar rental. The manager told me they were having problems and the codes weren't coming over. I gave him the code. He said I was good to go. Later on I see a charge on my credit card for the fuel. I disputed it on my credit card because I couldn't get any assistance from a live person at Dollar. 2 months later I receive an invoice stating I owe them $105 for fuel. Orginally I was told the fuel charge was 85. Then I send copies of my email reservation with the code on it with all my rental paperwork showing said promotion code.I sent everything I possibly could showing that I used the code mailed it Dollar rental. I have asked via email to get a call back regarding this, nothing. Today I get a notification that the outstanding balance has been sent into a collection agency. T-Mobile should take this promotion off their site!
