MIMO 4x4 Panel External Antenna Kit for 4G LTE With Arcadian Gateway
I signed up for T-Mobile Home Internet and only get 2 bars and slow. So i purchased the MIMO 4x4 Panel External Antenna Kit. all of a sudden I am a little hesitant about opening up the gateway and hooking everything up. Worried i might break it and have to pay for it. I was wondering if i can use the same antenna kit with a high boost signal booster and run it to the gateway some how or use the booster and have the gateway hook to its signal??? Any thought’s or idea’s on this please.
Thanks everyone for your help.

If you are interested go to waveform.com and search for “t-mobile guides” and there is a link for the ones the have made for all 3 T-Mobile gateways. Great details.

Not sure which antenna you bought but you should check out the guide Waveform.com has. As I recall they have one for the Nokia and the Arcadyan gateway. I am not sure if they have one for the Sagemcon. With care it is possible to attach an external antenna. With great care with the tiny , delicate connections. The connectors can be broken easily.

I have done research on the boosters and currently there are none that support the MIMO technology used with 5G. Sure there are LTE boosters but they are expensive and provide limited capabilities. If there are 5G MIMO capable boosters expect a very hefty price associated with it. As of my last search on the subject I found the tech is not available. The forecast I found suggested a few years before it might be possible to be to market.
