Additional Memory
On the bottom of my device there's a slot to add a memory chip. Question is can I use this as a backup for some of my programs? In general what is this slot used for?
The microSD card slot can hold various sizes of storage. Pictures, audio, and video files are most commonly stored on these to reserve ypur devices internal storage for system files and apps.
Sorry I am wrong as wrong can be, it is simply the sim slot I was looking at. To my knowledge there is no memory card slot on the Home Internet Box
