The problem is that it was a warranty exchange through Apple and the imei was never in Tmobile's data base as being sold by them.
Apple needs to contact Tmobile and have it put into their system. Don't let Apple tell you that they can't because they can. This is a Apple issue in how they control their phones imei’s.
