wifi connection

I have mine set up as wifi preferred  in my calling preferences and whe I come home it goes from 5G to wifi.

It’s like every time I get home my phone shows att wife on my phone but then it will ask me if o want to try Wi-Fi again or use cell data instead not not sure why it won’t connect when I get home 

Do you have wifi calling preferred selected in your phones settings?
