Is it normal to have no signal in my house even with a T-Mobile Booster and that for years now?

I have a Nokia Cellspot, which I called booster. I have 5 bars with it but the calls are cut out. Without I just have 1 bar. It is an e-sim. My second line with a regular sim has just one bar too for ATT. Don’t want to buy a new phone just because T-Mobil has no signal around here. Just a few minute ago, I came home and had 5 bars on the phone also outside my house. Strange!
