ps4 shows “cannot connect SSL”

First time for my son attempting to play madden on his ps4 after switching to tmobile internet. 
Screen displays “cannot connect SSL”

After googling, every site says it’s a network issue regarding some firewall. 

I have restarted both the ps4 and the modem. 

not sure what to do next. Can someone please help????
