Data while on a cruise
I will be on a cruise next week traveling to the Eastern Caribbean. While on the ship I would like to do my workouts but they are streamed online. I’ve used wifi previously on a cruise ship which worked well but on this cruise line it’s $17 a day which is expensive only to use it for working out. Does T-Mobile offer a data plan that i can upgrade to that will work while sailing?
T-Mobile does not offer any cruise ship specific plans. Cruise ships use their own towers and charge some insane rates for data, calls, and texts that go through their systems. I would highly recommend putting your device in Airplane Mode anywhere within 2 miles of a cruise ship to avoid an insanely costly bill.
