connection issues

With the results you see, why am I have so many connection issues. I can’t hardly stream a simple movie on Netflix without buffering for 20 minutes. I’ve restarted everything imaginable multiple times. This was the solution given me by support. The first 7-8 months have been perfect, but the last 2- months it’s been horrible ( relatively speaking). Any help would be great!  Thanks

  • I suspect that the site that you’re using has some network congestion.  

    While the SINR is great (26 on n41 is VERY good - must be clear line of site)

    RSRQ/CQI is similar to what I’m getting, and I have worse RSRP (building + trees in between and ~1200’).

    I suspect that if I was on a different sector of the tower (condos/schools/apartments vs houses), my performance wouldn’t be as good, even if the signal was better.  Sounds like network or ‘deprioritization’ (most likely).  Are the speeds any better on your cellphone w/o WiFi ?

    So do you have any idea what the issue might be? I’m in a more rural area. About 1 ¼ miles from the tower. 

  • Those are actually pretty decent values.

    Mine are worse, but performance is better.  Its a mostly residential area, and the range of coverage from this tower is < 1 mile, and timing advance / google maps shows me at ~1200’ range.

    I have no clue what these mean. It says my RSRP is poor though. Which doesn’t make sense to me because that refers to signal received by the gateway and according to the Home Screen on the app, that says very good. Thanks for responding!

  • You may want to go into the app and the bottom ‘More’ section with Advanced Cellular Metrics and see 4g lte and 5g metrics.  I suspect you're on n71 and decent lte
