Verizon Phone Payoff
I transferred in a line from Verizon with a balance still on the phone from Verizon. T-Mobile offered to pay it off. I’m trying to figure out where to go to initiate this payoff transaction. I guess they send me a prepaid card for the balance or something like that.

Yeah I’m aware it works that way I just didn’t know where to go to set things in motion. I want to get this done straight away as there is surely a time limit to things that tends to work in T-Mobile favor.

I have not done this myself but you need to be clear that T-Mobile does not “pay off” your phone. You pay off your phone and jump through some hoops and then T-Mobile reimburses you with a prepaid debit card. Have you logged onto your T-Mobile account? You should take a screen shot or picture of your final Verizon bill, where it shows how much you owe on your phone. You then upload the picture to T-Mobile via your account page (somewhere) and then you wait for their response. Log in to your account and poke around.
The bottom line is that you owe Verizon the balance on your phone. T-Mobile may reimburse you if you prove to their satisfaction that you’ve met the qualifications.
Here’s a document that knows much more than I do.
