Unable to view videos on LG G8 Thinq

When I try to click on a video received via Messaging, I get this error message:

Cannot access:

Files and media

Go to Settings > Apps > App info > Video > Permissions to allow

The problem is that Video is not one of the listed apps. When I click on “Permissions,” it does take me directly to App permissions: Video. However, it says my allowed permissions are Files and Media and SMS. Under the permissions not allowed, it says “No permissions denied.”
