Samsung RCS
My S25 Ultra is being delivered today & as I understand it T Mobile is not supporting RCS for the Samsung message app but instead want users to use Google messages for this. I've tried Google on my current Galaxy S & the Google app is garbage, it does not have a select text option only copy which makes 2 step authentication a pain bc you cant select the 6-10 digit code to copy & most of my stuff requires 2 step. There's plenty of complaints about this app on forums & YouTube along with a 3.4 rating on the Play Store, this is an unacceptable app for Samsung users & I doubt Google will improve it.

It looks like Samsing Messages is back. This video proves it has RCS working on the s25 Ultra on T-Mobile.
I just downloaded it for my s23 Ultra from the Galaxy Store. It's the same version so it should have all of the same options.

Samaung discontinued support for Samsung Messages in North America shortly after the launch of the s23 series. T-Mobile does support RCS on any platform that supports it, including Apple. If you are unhappy that Samsung chose not to continue to support Samsung Messages in favor of Google Messages for RCS, the Samsung Members forum is a good place to voice your unhappiness with their choice. You will find plenty of threads there to post in and people who agree with you.

It's understandable to be frustrated with Google Messages, especially for 2-step authentication. While T-Mobile promotes Google Messages for RCS, Samsung’s Messages app also supports it, depending on network support. If you prefer Samsung Messages, check if RCS is enabled on your device with T-Mobile. Google Messages is constantly being updated, but if it’s not working for you, giving feedback on the Play Store or forums could help push for improvements.
