Motorola Moto g Pure unlock

I have a Tmobile Motorola Moto G Pure that as of August 4, 2023 it was eligible to be unlocked.  I followed the procedure and got the following error messages.  One said that the device had to be paid off, which mine is.  I talked with customer service and they could not help me.  I did manage to get a temporary unlock, but that is of use to me.  I want my device to be permanently unlocked.

    Contact Tmobile support using messenger on one of Tmobile’s social media like Facebook or X, they're a higher tier of support.
