ice cracked my screen
Has anyone had this happen? I was crushing ice last night, and some fell on my phone (already crushed fine, like sno-cone ice). Not much, just a little, and it made my screen crack! I am BAFFLED at how that happened...anyone had something similar happen before?
I know that some glass cracks from drastic temperature changes. If your phone was running hot and then the cold hit it, it could have possibly been way too much change too quickly and caused the screen to crack. I have never actually seen this happen for phone screens, but cups and cookware a few times.
The only thing I can think of is the screen had a microfracture already and the ice made it a fracture.
Little sprinkles, and not very long...that's why I was surprised when I saw the crack!
How much ice and how long was it on the screen?
