Satellite texting cost
I wanted to know because if it's not going to be included I wanted to take advantage of the Early Adopter discount of $10 per month instead of $15 which was stated on the T-Mobile Satellite Beta Program site. The web site also states that this offer is only good until March 1. I looked everywhere for a way to sign up for it but could find nothing so I called T-Mobile customer service for help. I spent over 1/2 hour on the phone while the rep tried to find an answer, but in the end he wasn't able to help. He told me that I would have to wait until after March 1 to sign up for it which is the opposite of what is stated on the web site. I guess I'll just wait to see how this plays out. Thanks.
The beta is free to sign up. Even if it is included in your plan. It is good to have your account eligible for the discount on it just in case you ever decide you want to downgrade your plan or add another line on a cheaper plan.

Yeah. I signed up and was accepted into the Beta program last week so I have free access to satellite texting for the next 4 months. I guess I should have explained that from the start. I was just trying to get into the Early Adopters program before it ends on March 1 so I'll have the discounted price when the Beta ends in July and may have to start paying for satellite then.
